Where to stay in Jocheon
Jocheon hotels & accommodations

The staffs in the Reception were friendly and welcoming and all of them were fluent in English. An incident happened during my stay and they were professional in handling of such. Booked a ocean view room with a very good upgrade fee via Agoda, and the view was really nice which facing the beachfront and sea. However, the standard rooms are a bit small but good enough...

Mr Shin the front office manager is extremely helpful and he even recommended us to try the best black pork restaurant in Jocheon. Overall we had a great stay and the convenience store beside the hotel is indeed a value added as we can grab our necessity directly. Breakfast is fine but it can be improved.

This room for me is suitable for family (husband&wife, baby & child) , not friends or business partner or siblings or grown up childs coz the toilets is 80% transparent, which u can see through the glass. The childs really love shower in the bath tub, soothing away from tiredness after playing and bathing at the beach nearby the hotel just 6-10 minutes walk. Break...

Better than expected. We were delighted to note that the hotel was easy to find with friendly staff who spoke good English. We didn't feel too lost/isolated in a local place. And the seaview was nice. Best of all, the bedding was really comfortable so we rested well.

First room had a musty smell so the hotel moved us to a better room. The draw to this hotel was the view and the proximity to the scenic hilltop nearby. Instead of driving 30 minutes and walking another 20 to Seongsan to watch the sunrise, we walked to the view area on the nearby trail and had the entire hilltop and benches to ourselves,

The room itself is nice and the outdoor private pool is wonderful. However, when the staff informs you not to cook “smelly foods” in your room... I don’t expect there to be a $20 charge to cook them outside. Also, breakfast is served only from 8am-9:30...

This hotel is great for a quiet get-away. It is located right beside the sea-front, about 40 meters and away from any other buildings close-by so you really feel like you are by the sea. The rooms are good, comfortable and clean. There is space, but they are not overly spacious. The staff is very friendly and always accommodating to any requests. There is a restaurant ...

This hotel is located very close to Hamdeok Beach. It takes less than 5 minutes on foot to get to the beach itself. The hotel is well maintained and clean and is perfect for travelers who basically only need a comfortable place to sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The bed is a little firm but tolerable, the shower has excellent water pressure and hot water, and...

I booked here because it has swimming pool. But no water in the pool. Room is clean. But with that price I can find other places close to the beach. There is kitchenette in room but there is no wardrobe. Bedsheet looks clean but littlebit smelly, not sure it was changed before i checkin.

during my 14 days trip in korea, out of 5 place that i stayed, i will rate this as the best among the 5. this is because the room size is big, you have private kitchen with all the things that you need plus they do provide you the washing machine, it is so awesome.

Loved the location. Besides being at the beach front, food eateries, convenience stores and bus station are all within easy walking distance. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended to book the beach front rooms and you'll be able to get a great view of the sunrise view

Take note that the hostel is located on the 2nd level, as I disturbed a few of their neighbours before managing to find the hostel (they're nice people). The rooms and toilets are clean, with a TV and some console games in the common area. I don't know how difficult it'll be to reach the hostel by public transport, but it's a good place if you have a vehicle.

It is a great great hostel and I love it. It will be my 1st choice for my next trip to jeju. The hostel is just located along the beach and the sea view is amazing. The owner is very nice and tourists there held night party at the balcony facing the sea. They played guitar and sang songs. It is a fantastic experience staying there.

A very unpleasant experience. Throughout my stay with my family, there was not a single day any housekeeping was done for the room. Furthermore, we were only been provided small hand towels for shower. For a 5-star hotel, I find this very disappointing.

it is really convenient to 함덕 beach, and the room can see the seaview ,it's wonderful!the hosts drove the car to some place where have some restaurants, and when we came back, he also came here and sent us to hotel.host is very warmhearted and kind,he recommended us the best 소고기 집 in Soeul. He is also very cute and nice.Thank you very much, if I get to jeju island next t...

Overall was okay. It is near the sea with great view from living room. The apartment is not well maintain with not working lights in stairs well. Cleanliness on the room is not that great too. There were beer cans left over from previous customers at veranda. Some bed bugs was spotted too.

Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from South Korea.
Currency exchange is another essential aspect to consider. The South Korean Won (KRW) is the official currency, and it's advisable to have some cash on hand for small purchases, especially in local markets. ATMs are widely available, and credit cards are accepted in most hotels and restaurants, but it's always good to have cash for street vendors and smaller establishments.
Lastly, familiarize yourself with local customs and etiquette to enhance your experience. South Koreans are known for their hospitality, and a simple greeting with a smile can go a long way. When dining, it's customary to wait for the eldest person at the table to start eating first, and using both hands when giving or receiving items is considered polite. Being aware of these cultural nuances will help you navigate your trip to Jocheon with ease.
