“Amazing hotel”
This is my 9th year traveling in Asia and honestly, Hoianese Old Town Boutique Hotel was one of the best all-around stays I’ve had. I booked the room with the field view. Things I really liked: It was super quiet – both the hotel’s location (a calm street with barely any traffic) and the room itself. Slept great every night. The bed was very comfortable – good mattress, soft cotton sheets. Outlets and nightstands on both sides, which is always appreciated. The room had everything we needed: a fridge to keep our water cold, a chair for clothes, a wardrobe. Just practical and well thought-out. Only small downside was not really having a good spot to place our two big travel bags. Bathroom was also practical – strong hangers that held our toiletry bags, nice mirror, warm water with good flow. Would’ve preferred a standing shower over a bathtub, but sitting and showering worked fine. WiFi was mostly stable and fast. The location is great – quiet but close to laundry places and local restaurants that aren’t full of tourists. The ancient town is walking distance, which made it easy to visit without feeling stuck in the crowds all the time. Staff were super friendly and cleaned the room daily. We only had breakfast once (egg and toast, the usual), but there are plenty of places around for food anyway. Overall, super relaxing and smooth stay. Would definitely stay again.
