Where to stay in Goa
Goa hotels & accommodations

I was so lucky to grab the Leela Goa (via Agoda) during the off-season at an incredibly affordable price, but I must admit that even though the experience is probably worth every penny of the rates it usually commands ($300-400/night during from Oct-Apr)...I probably wouldn't have been able to afford such luxury if not for the off-season. The airport shuttle was a 5-s...

before going to Goa, we heard a lot of bad experiences from our friend that the hotel where they stayed not as they expected and their holiday become unpleasent experience. While we were searching, we still have this worry and it still have that until we arrived in the hotel. First thing that make our worried slowly dissapear that the hotel design was beautiful startin...

We planned to have a relaxed trip and Goa was suitable place. We choose to stay at north Goa at this property as it is close to Condolim beach and clam place. We booked superior type the rooms were spacious, well maintained & has balcony to relax. The pool was close but occupied by foreigners for the sun bath. Coming to food, the compliment break fast has good spread &...

It was a wonderful stay and staff was really helpful. we got a early check in as well because we booked for 10 days. Hotel is really great, I would say better or similar to Novotels in Dubai. All was well cleaned and maintained. Not a complaint but a small suggestion would be to make the WC cleaning better and replenish the worn towels, that taken care would surely...

Our stay was fantastic it is one of the best hotels I have been in Goa. Agoda gave us the best deal. Pool area is very nice n quite. The hotel rooms r big n clean. Staff is also very courteous. I will recommend this hotel to everybody who ever I visiting or planning to stay in candolim, Goa

This was my 3rd visit to Goa, and everytime I used to stay in North Goa near Baga beach. But this time I decided to give South Goa a try, as their beaches and the water are supposed to be cleaner. The location of this resort is good, about 15kms from the Goa Airport, not too far in the South. The rooms are excellent, although I think they were a bit dimly lit. The Staf...

We only had about 36 hours in Goa and wanted a hotel that was in the older part of town. The Crown Goa Hotel is a charming hotel, that is located on top of a hill so it has sweeping views of the river and the town below. It was surprisingly quiet. The staff were excellent. We had breakfast included and it was very good. They have a nice pool, so you can cool down d...

Fantastic place, location, staff, food and price!! We haven’t been to India before so we wanted to give goa a go and found Beleza. We stayed for 8 nights and have just got back from an amazing trip. I’d give this place 8/10 altogether (would be 10/10 but building work is currently going on and can be a bit noisy) but as soon as that is done the place will honestly be p...

This was amongst one of many trips of goa for me. But, unlike my other trips, it was an out n out family trip. I was travelling with my wife nd my 10 months old daughter so we chose Santana. we initially booked it for two days but den I xtended our booking for a couple of days more. The place is located beautifully in front of candolim beach. Even though the property i...

Our stay at Regenta was quite enjoyable & memorable. It is a well designed & well maintained property.Pool facing room had the best view.Staff was very welcoming & cooperative. Varca beach is only at walking distance where we had so much fun while doing watersports. Regenta also provides spa facilities. For a family who want to experience calm environment of south Goa...

First of all, the Agoda "app" is troublesome, dont rely on it as far as dates r concerned.i booked a stay for 24-26th, the app showed me 23-25th (now while writing review, it shows my stay as 22-24). Out of all dis confusion,i rchd my destination 1 day prior, but the ppl here at Agoda are awesome n very co-operative.In a matter of minutes,Agoda managed with the hotel s...

My first visit to Goa and having stayed in Royal Orchid in Bangalore many times, I decided to choose Royal Orchid Goa as I was already familiar with its excellent service and good hotel design. And as expected, the service was par excellence from the moment we arrive. The check in was good, the room was good, the food in the restaurant was excellent. One thing that is ...

Outstanding customer service! Each and every member of the hotel staff provided extraordinary service. The hotel is located at one of the nicer beaches, Calangute - Goa! The hotel is surrounded by variety of restaurants/cuisines for every type. Taxis are available outside the hotel gate and the drivers are extremely reliable. I would definitely recommend The Park at ...

Casa De Goa Hotel We spent a 3 nights at Casa De Goa Hotel in March. The hotel was clean & neat with a laid back holiday atmosphere. The rooms were an average size with a balcony overlooking the pool which was well used by most guests especially if there was live entertainment at dinner. The staff was friendly & willing to assist with any issues guest may have. ...

We had booked Alila Diwa Goa for our honeymoon & it was the best decision we could have taken to make our stay special and luxurious. We had opted fpr Standard Terrace Room. bloomrooms@Calangute offers reasonably priced rooms just 15 mins away from the beach. The rooms are a bit small (22 sq. meters) but clean, comfy bed. Despite booking the room very late and at the absolute high point of the Goa season, I felt it was a superb deal (10K INR for 30th Dec to the 1st) considering how exorbitant rooms generally go for. It's situated just off ...

Bogmallo beach resort has one of the finest beach views in Goa(every room has a beach view), where you can literally hear the sound of the waves in your room, so even if you don't feel like going to the beach you can enjoy the soothing views of beach and the sunset from your hotel balcony. One of the best Pool's amongst Goa hotels from where also you can watch the bea...

Stayed at this place between 28 May and 01 Jun. Booked this place solely based on reviews on Agoda. To begin with, the resort is easily accessible and the check-in was smooth. The rooms were sparkling clean. The decor is basic, bit everything looks just perfect. Lenin and toilets were very clean. The toon smelled good. The resort has cosy large wooden cabins with gr...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. I believe it is indeed one of the best choices one can make in the northern part of Goa, at least for a medium price budget. The hotel is very clean, has a very nice pool environment and a good restaurant in the hotel. It is one of the newest hotels in the area, therefore indeed clean and modern. The rooms are not extremely spaciou...

We recently stayed at Rococco Ashvem beach as part of a three week holiday in India. The five nights we stayed at the hotel were a very relaxing and enjoyable time for us. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially when we were four hours late arriving, due to a train delay, the driver waited for us at the station!!! We also lost our room key and again the staff ...

The view of the beach from the restaurant area and lawns were terrific. Though we turned up in an off season with persistent rains, the beautiful landscapes, views and always smiling restaurant staff kept us in high spirits! Palash the restaurant has great food. Loved all the genuinely good vegetarian friendly options (including the ubiquitous need for curd rice by the...

Cheap places to stay in Goa

apart from wifi not working, everything was good. Staff is nice, beds are comfortable and there's a tiny pool as well you can enjoy. Bootstart is located in the middle of the fields in Mandrem Village, its beautiful and serene and not so far away from the beach. worth a visit!

What can I say about this hostel? Simply the best I came across during my 4 day trip in Goa.I loved the feel of the place. The decoration was vintage and hip at the same time. Most importantly the bathrooms were clean! The staff were very friendly and helpful.Trip to Goa is never complete with out staying at this place.Good job Saurab and Karthik.!!

Just 5 mins walk to the beach and there's curtain for privacy in dorms. Hot waters running all the time. The owner Nelson and staff Aaron, Vinu is super cool and helpful. Yoga in the morning is great too. Definitely will stay here again when I come back to Palolem !!

Checked into this hostel an hour before my phone was pickpocketed at Mapusa bus station. The staff were really helpful and let me use their laptop and phones to contact my insurance company and the police station. I also met a great group of travellers to party with on NYE!

This was one of best hostel experience i ever had. and trust me i had many. since this was the only hostel in south Goa, i was left with no choice but to book this one. and about the hostel, the location is pretty good. there is enough lot to park my bike. and beach is 10 mins walk from the hostel. the people i met from here where all amazing. i would defini...

I've spent 2 nights in Jungle and 2 in Dream and both are pretty much the same. I've met more backpackers in Dreams while in Jungle the ratio between Indian travellers and travellers from the rest of the world was 50:50. All people were very nice and friendly in both hostels. Jungle has some awesome free samosas for brekkie, while Dream offers no brekkie at all. Dream ...

Came here with a friend and stayed in one of the mixed dorm rooms. Clean, safe, and only a few minutes' walk from the beach. The lockers under the bed are nice and HUGE - each is half of the length of the bed (you need to provide your own lock or buy one from the front desk). There are laundry racks on the roof for drying clothes. The breakfast offered at the adjoini...

The neighbourhood is quiet and nice to walk through for a stroll. The nearby grocery shops have all you need. The old quarter itself has super friendly and helpful staff. Dont miss out on their coffee which is the best I had in whole Goa and India. The place is great to meet other travelers. Breakfast is delicious and the whole place looks really nice.

Believe it or not, one of the best things about backpacking is staying inn hostel! I’ve heard it so many times from people returning from their travels – and I can vouch for it myself!! I really enjoyed my stay at ZOSTEL! It's very well run and clean hostel. The best I've ever stayed at and the cafe is great. I have to say that the facilities and staff are top notch. ...

We stayed for three days and we had a wonderful feelings over there. The staffs are really good and friendly.Live music all day is good. From resort, we went to some site seeing places and the resort person arranged us a best driver(Sudhakar).During night they conducted candle light dinner which impressed us a lot.we had a best experience over there and best & safe place...

This is definitely one of my best experiences in a hostel . The reception is small but very helpful. The rooms are basic and I stayed in a standard double room ( preferred in the same building ) but the experience was breathtaking. The pool is nice and cosy and the ambience is very serene . The bar and the pool area is the highlight of the hostel . Such delicious cock...

the staff was very helpful and friendly and the hospitality was amazing ansh dewaney was helpful and a friendly man he was the one who guided all about the goa and he was just fabulous person to meet and the reception girl dikshita was very friendly helpful too.

After arriving on time for our check in (after a 15 hour trip) we were told the Deluxe room we had booked on Agoda was not available for us. We were promised every day in our trip that room would be available and other guests would be checking out. This never happened. We were then bribed that if we would give a positive review, then we could get a fraction of a re...

We had a great stay in Hotel La Flor. We stayed here for a transit for train trip. We had a very big room with big double bed and a living room area with comfortable sofa's. The hotel staff was very helpful to supply information for a day trip and see to that everything we needed was taken care of instantly. We dined and had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. We di...

All Hi, we were in this place at the beginning of March, with family: I husband and son 1 year. We liked. Beautiful location, just 1 minute walk to the Beach. Good rooms. It was purely and when we asked we at once did cleaning. Even new beautiful sheets on the bed. Staff great. Very отзывчивые guys. Honest. Very well met and was carried out. Helped to a taxi. And we th...

Beach is only 10-15 min away and it’s a lovely walk. There’s two restaurants right next to the guest house. We preferred the one called Camaron’s, great food and staff very friendly. We initially booked to stay here for 2-3 nights, we loved the guest house and Majorda so much we stayed for 7 nights!

This was my favourite place in Goa! Amazing location right beside the beach, Facing the sea but also really nice and quiet as its tucked away with its own little garden. It's quiet, the restaurant/bar is good, the rooms are really comfortable and clean and Yogita and her staff were lovely and welcoming. I spent months in Goa and this is definitely the best place I foun...

Pros: - kind, professional, accommodating staff. Let me have a late check out due to a late bus in the evening. - Aesthetically, thoughtfully composed interiors that made for a really peaceful, beautiful stay! - delicious, wholesome meals. Breakfast was local bread with homemade jam, hot chai and a different Indian element every day- from poha to Upma or idli sambar. ...

Stayed for 6 nights over new year. what a wonderful place to stay with an outstanding location right on the beach.......waking up to a view over the Indian Ocean and watching the sunset from the terrace or from the adjoining restaurant/bar, which I might add serves great food at any time of the day or night. What made Duck n Chill really special was the friendliness an...

My friend and I were on a vacation in North Goa, and decided to give this hotel a try. It was a pleasant surprise with its excellent hosts. Heidi is an angel that will make sure you have an excellent stay. Their air conditioned rooms are excellent, and the cleanliness is great. Not even one mosquito bite took place while we stayed there. All in all, great value for mon...

Beautiful setting. Quiet resort on the quiet end of the quietest beach in Goa India. Not remote or secluded by any means, but it is less crowded and far less busy than other beaches around. The elevated huts are great. Really a quiet garden feel. If you spend all day on a beach bed and away from your room, the "cottage" rooms will do. Most places around have a few h...

My stay at Golden Tulip Goa, was wonderful. Great value for money. The hotel was clean, modern, and all round comfortable stay. I was there during the taxi strike, and was happy to...

Good place in Goa to meet the nice beaches of the south and the north. Despite of the noisy and busy Vagator area (mostly along the beach), the emplacement of the hotel is very quiet. Walking distance to a very good restaurant (Sri). Room was very clean and very nice. Thanks a lot for the warmest service provide during our stay. Highly recommanded.

In short nice location little inside but not far from market and beach. Stayed in Delux rooms. Better to book pool facing rooms. Rooms and wash rooms are clean. Good spread in breakfast. Items, if not on buffet are also provide if you give a prior notice to the staff. Small pool for kids. The pool is little smaller for adults. The best part of the hotel is that they ha...

My stay @ the ACACIA GOA RESORT met my expectations and more. Even though there was a taxi strike, the airport staff arranged for someone to pick me up @ the airport (I had to call the hotel since they didn't have my contact details BUT that wasn't a problem). My room was cleaned daily, ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The pool, for...

Out of the 9 hotels that we stayed in during our travels in India, I can safely say that Estrela Do Mar was the best, especially when considering the price we paid for the Executive double room was more or less the same amount we had paid for a lot of the other places we had stayed in previous to arriving in Goa. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is jus...

One of the best resort in Candolim,Goa. Had a very great experience. I stayed with my senior citizen parents, sister and her 4 year old son. In consideration of my parents age, the hotel upgraded them to a sea view room at check in even though we had not booked one. Hotel is nice and located near the beach, Its on the Holiday Street so you have access to all the things nearby. Hotels Restaurant is also good. Only Couple things the Breakfast time is till 10:30 which i think according to Goa should be 11:30 and you have to purchase water all the time they do not serve tap water.

More I say less it will be to describe our experience (group of four friends). It is comparatively small hotel with 21 rooms only but not less than any big five star hotel. Rooms are studded with all amenities and requirements from good size beds, new looks of rooms, sitting area with couch and LCD, new style bathrooms and good quality toiletries. Look of Hotel takes y...

We chose to end our India adventure here to unwind and refresh after exploring Mumbai , then north and south Goa.
